I realize for some moms (incluing myself in the past) Mother’s Day has not been the easiest time. Speaking from personal experience, my husband didn’t understand the importance of Mother’s Day and showing gratitude. It wasn’t because he didn’t care but because he didn’t know how to show appreciation. I’m taking a crazy, wild guess I’m not the only one out there.
Honestly, we need to help our family out because they can not read out minds (which can change 10 times in one minute) and often we fear being selfish by sharing our wishes. Let’s help your and my families out!
I have created a Mother’s Day planning guide to help you decide what you would enjoy to do on Mother’s Day. Then you can share your Mother’s Day Plan with your spouse, significant other or your kids because I’m sure they would love help with ideas. Pass this also to your mom to find out about her Mother’s Day Plan. Maybe you can even celebrate together on Mother’s Day or a different date.
For your guide click on this link: Plan Your Mothers Day Guide.
If you are in a situation without a supportive spouse and your kids are little or maybe out of the house, this planning guide is still for you. Use this guide to plan out your Mother’s Day excursion at some point either for yourself or with some friends.
Will my Mother’s Day happen exactly as written? I do have realistic expectations so maybe not exactly, since we have three (very active and creative) little ones. But it will help my husband and I’m sure we will have fun in the midst of it!
Please share this post with your friends, sisters and other moms who would love to plan out their Mother’s Day.
