Whether it is the start to the school year or the New Year, often choosing your planner is on your mind. If you have a favorite planner and a system then it is easy peasy choosing your planner. However, for some people it is a frustrating experience, to the point some may give up the search or choose the wrong planner for themself.
Problem: Choosing Your Planner
In another article I shared why I began planning; it came from being unorganized and not planning out my time. I was able to find a planner and figure out a system to organize my tasks and appointments. This would not be the last time I searched for a planner.
A few years later I started my first full time job and my planning needs changed. I began my process again for choosing the right planner to meet my needs. Jumping ahead a few years I became an emergency manager (disaster planning & response). Next I met and married my husband followed by our little blessings. My planner no longer kept up with these life changes. I had to find another planner. I even tried going completely digital which you can read about here.
Looking back, I see I created a process for choosing the right planner. Because of my experiences, I am able to help others searching for a planner whether chasing over coffee or on Facebook. I strongly believe believe we can make a great impact in our sphere of influence when we plan our days with purpose. Now I understand my personal struggle in to plan can now benefit others.
